Aurélia Durand is a French artist and author based in Denmark. Living abroad for over a decade deeply shaped her reflections on belonging, identity, and visibility. Through bold colors and simplified forms, she creates vibrant portraits that center Black bodies with presence, softness, and strength. Her work moves between painting, publishing, and storytelling, exploring what it means to exist between cultures while searching for a place to belong.
Her work has been featured through collaborations with major international brands and institutions, while her books and visual storytelling continue to build an engaged international community around questions of identity and representation.
